- Kirk Douglas - Jeez...he's old (91)

Don't forget that Jim McCay, Bo Diddley, and Sydney Pollack also recently died.
I think Carlin was the third
Yeah I think Carlin is the third. We're missing a third journalist behind McCay and Russert. Diddley, Pollack, and Carlin are the trio of just plain celebrities.
My bet for the next third will include Patrick Sawyaze and his terminal cancer.
